HISTORYGA History![]() In April 2005, Coach Tim Miller and the TG Way Foundation, decided to start a school for children that could not afford a regular private school education. Through much planning, in August of 2005 the TG Way Foundation spearheaded the endeavor. The school initially began with six students (three girls and three boys). By September 2005, God’s Academy had already increased its enrollment. Coach Tim Miller's motto is, "If you work hard, you can get into college.” The success of God's Academy began to spread. Straight "A" students from public schools started transferring to God’s Academy. Parents and students were convinced that a private school education could be earned at God's Academy at a great price. God’s Academy was founded with the purpose to help all children be admitted to college; thus affording students an opportunity to gain better jobs, pursue professional careers, and lead more productive lives. God's Academy provides a solid foundation in academics, arts and sports as tools to help children achieve their goals. GA has enrolled over 100 students in its programs since 2005. Over 90% of the student athletes have been admitted into college. Since the inception of God's Academy, four student athletes have advanced to play professional basketball overseas. Coach Tim Miller works for Hoopscooponline.com as a National and State Ranker. He also facilitated the US and Mid-West Elite National Basketball Camps. Tim Miller has coached since 1984.
